Hi all,
I'm interested to find out where I can go to find out approximately how many blind people are on the Internet. Its for a project for someone. An estimate will do.

Hmm. Interesting question. If you are interested in the United States, I'd try the American Foundation for the Blind. If you're interested in a more worldwide estimate, I'd try the world Blind Union. I don't know if anyone pees statistics on this. Good luck.

Can you give me more info on WBU and how may I contact them? I do appreciate it.

Well, I'd try the two consumer organizations, NFB and ACB headquarters. Also, American Foundation for the Blind probably can put you in touch with them as well. I got to thinking about the question last night. I'm thinking that with the One Laptop per child Program, and the Accessibility is a Right Foundation,we might just see more children who are blind accessing the Internet as well.

I know about the accessibility is a right foundation. I'll contact ACB in awhile and see what I can come up with.
